Artisan Bread

Oh my, I think I'm in love....

First try using a new recipe, and wow, talk about a home run! So this comes from an awesome book I found at the library and then promptly purchased for myself. The book is The New Artisan Bread in Five Minutes a Day.

This recipe is the first in the book. The Master Recipe: Boule (Artisan Free-Form Loaf). This is by far the easiest bread recipe I have ever tried. Here is a YouTube video explaining the whole process. Magic really.

I think it will be even better next time. Letting the dough ferment in the fridge is such a great idea. Plus I didn't have my temp quite right and I think it should have baked for a couple of more minutes. Even with all of that this is still the easiest, best tasting, and most beautiful bread I have ever made!
